As a Business Development Manager at Medios you’ll be joining more than just a commercial team. You’ll be joining a fast paced, social-first and influencer company, who create and distribute engaging content for brands. You will effectively build relationships with agencies and clients to understand their business and advertising needs. You will deliver compelling solutions across Medios’ portfolio of brands/content creators/influencers to excite and compel brands to work with us. Candidates should be confident, proactive and have a real passion for Social Media & GREAT content. We are looking for someone who loves a good idea and has the creativity and drive to execute those ideas.

Main Responsibilities

Someone who can deliver amazing ideas to inspire new and existing clients.

  • Proactively pitch creative concepts to clients.
  • Challenge clients to reach their target audience in new ways.
  • Drive engagement with clients and deliver an exceptional customer service

Establish and grow relationships with clients and agencies.

  • Build contact list across all levels with agency planning and buying teams.
  • Establish and grow client relationships across all industry verticals (student, entertainment, gaming, sports, food, travel, fashion & beauty, lifestyle, banking etc.) throughout the country
  • Strategic understanding of client objectives.
  • Seek out and develop relationships with clients and agencies; develop an understanding of clients’ business issues; sell through Medios offerings that support clients’ strategic and tactical needs
  • Ensure that high-quality services are delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently, whether it is direct or indirect communications.
  • Reach out to renowned publications/awards to celebrate Medios’ developments and wins to further our notoriety.

Be an ambassador for the Medios Company

  • Attend industry events.
  • Contribute to industry topics and conversation.

Achieve commercial revenue targets.

  • Accurately manage and forecast an active sales pipeline.
  • Effectively convert proactive and reactive brief responses.
  • Achieve revenue goals on a quarterly basis

Contribute to the culture of a fast-growing company.

  • Bring a strong team work ethic.
  • Ensure the businesses marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image, internally and externally.
  • Inspire those around them to achieve more.
  • Further build the marketing team to develop our presence, through blog posts, social post, video posts etc through all of the company’s media.

 Must Haves:

  • At least two (2) years experience working at a marketing agency in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of portraying a brand’s beliefs and values.
  • Strong knowledge of the social landscape.
  • Drive, determination, consistency
  • Skilled in leadership and communication (written and oral).
  • Experience in marketing a brand, product or business (digital media sales).
  • Ability to work with a high performing sales team
  • Extensive digital media knowledge, including: video & social
  • Ability to articulate a compelling story about an influencer/publisher/community
  • Ability to thrive in an innovative environment
  • Passion for Social Media and all it has to offer.
